How It Works
Kybella® uses a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule that helps break down and absorb dietary fat. When injected strategically into submental fat, Kybella® destroys unwanted fat cells. Once eliminated, these cells can no longer store fat, resulting in a permanent reduction of fullness beneath the chin.

Aftercare
After Kybella® treatment, mild swelling, tenderness, or firmness under the chin is normal and expected as the body begins breaking down fat cells. Most clients resume normal activities immediately, though it’s recommended to avoid strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours. Ice packs, gentle compression, and keeping the chin elevated can help reduce swelling. Your provider will review all aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth and comfortable recovery.
