Tis the season for delicious food and drinks. Although we love our traditional meals, often times the heavier foods call for lighter fare when it comes to drinks. Kombucha Holiday Mocktails are not only delicious but are also a wonderful way to make any gathering special.
These festive drinks help hydrate you and boost your immunity and health, all while keeping sugar and calories low. They are naturally energizing, and filled with healthy live cultures to boost your gut health and well being. These spritzers are a great alternative to sugary drinks, caffeinated drinks and even alcohol. You can try these recipes below, but I also encourage you to try your own fun combinations.
Spritzer Ingredients
For a beautiful presentation, I suggest using an Italian Jar or a Glass Pitcher. Use amounts below as a reference depending on the size of your container. You will want to include about ½ Kombucha to 1 Sparkling Water ratio in ounces, and of course vary this ratio to your liking. For a large Italian Jar or glass pitcher:
- 72 – 84 ounces of Waterloo Lime Sparkling Water (Or any other natural sparkling water with BPA free cans)
- 36 – 48 ounces of Raspberry Lime Kombucha (Ingles Harvest Farms Organic) or GT’s Trilogy
- 1 pint of Organic Raspberries
- 1 Organic Lime or Lemon sliced thinly for pitcher and for glass garnish
- Whole Earth Monk/Stevia sweetener to taste
- Crushed Ice
Directions
- Add Sparkling Water to your italian jar or pitcher
- Add Kombucha
- Add Whole Earth Monk sweetener to taste
- Add 3/4 of the sliced lime and half of the pint of raspberries to, stir gently
- Add ice to your pitcher or jar
- Serve in a highball, stemless or traditional wine glass for fun
- Fill glass with ice, spritzer and garnish with a couple raspberries and a slice of lime
Enjoy!
