Aftercare
Dysport® does not require a great deal of aftercare. We do ask that you do not lie down for 4 hours post treatment, avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours and avoid massaging the area treated. Immediately following the treatment session, patients can go right back to their day without recovery time or downtime. This makes Dysport® very convenient for on-the-go professionals.
Using ice to reduce any swelling is recommended. Slight bruising while rare can occur and redness may also be present for a short time. Avoiding excessive alcohol consumption and heavy exercise prevents exacerbation of these minor issues.
