Aftercare
Following dermal filler treatment, patients may experience mild swelling, redness, or bruising, which typically resolves within a few days. Strenuous exercise, alcohol consumption, and excessive heat should be avoided for the first 24–48 hours. Sleeping with the head elevated can help minimize swelling. Some tenderness or small lumps may be felt temporarily as the filler settles; gentle icing can provide comfort. Patients should avoid massaging treated areas unless directed by their provider. Most normal activities can be resumed immediately.
Results
Results from hyaluronic acid fillers are visible immediately, with continued refinement as swelling subsides over several days.
